The staff of Adage IT truly are the gears that keep the machine running. Each member of the team has ingrained in their being the customer service initiative created in August 2006. That is to go above any expectation you ever have had of an IT support company. With that said, here is a brief look at some of the key staff here to serve you.
Jeremy Stepan – President
He’d like to say he broke the mold of the typical tech geek. He began working in computers in 1998 providing warranty support for computers purchased through Circuit City. From the start of his career his advancement has come from hard work and the personal handshake introductions to new opportunities. Working in a 24×7 call center he learned the fundamentals of business networking, primarily to keep the network running and respond quickly if it stops. From 2001 to 2006 he spent time developing advanced solutions to improve business efficiency and productivity, while managing a group of technicians and business relationships. Summer of 2006 he founded Adage IT to embark on a new adventure of technical service to business clients. Growth has been steady and literally has come one handshake at a time. Building a big company was never the goal, instead it was to “Provide a handshake relationship with advanced technology to truly help businesses grow using the power of network computing.” The result is a dream he never imagined. He is committed to your success!
John Villar – Director of Operations
What a change life can bring. John comes to Adage IT with extensive business operations experience. Acquiring graduate education from UCLA’s Anderson School of Business, and well over a decade of management and operations experience, he is intent on preserving the Adage IT experience for each of our clients. After spending the past 10 years in the construction industry, John wanted to find a new avenue for growth in the workplace. He landed at Adage IT where he began making his mark from day 1 with process and operations management. We can’t be more pleased to have John on staff, he will continue to facilitate the growth of Adage IT in a way that maintains the experience our clients have come to trust.
Lisa Arnone - Technical Coordinator
Running the schedules of a bunch of tech’s is a challenge many would choose to pass up. Not Lisa… Her skill-set is detail oriented, thorough, consistent, and process driven making her the perfect brain to keep all of the team running like clock-work. She’s the first voice you’ll hear when you call and will do everything she can to ensure each issue you bring is followed through to a successful finish.
Mark Hovis – Network Technician
Mark is also a key tech for our Traditional Support clients and came to Adage IT with almost a decade of hands on IT support experience. Since 2010 he has been a solid tech on the team continually providing great customer service and technical expertise to the whole range of our clients from hourly to some of our largest agreement. Mark currently makes his residence in Santa Clarita.
Rick Brackett – Network Engineer
Coming to Adage IT with over 6 years of network support specifically in the managed services model, Rick quickly became an integral piece in the development of our cloud based initiative The Small Business Revolution. Working in IT in Orange County and most recently in Phoenix Arizona, Rick was coaxed in 2011 to move back to his home town of Santa Clarita to continue his career. Bringing his experience in larger scale hosted implementations and management, he has helped to elevate the solutions we are providing our clients.
Sam Pecsek – Network Technician
Sam came highly recommended from a vendor and has proven quickly to be a valuable asset to Adage IT. Making the move from beautiful Modesto California, he is pleased to relocate to his college stomping ground. As a fairly new tech in the real world, Sam was brought on primarily with the role of managing the voip phones for clients. Both for roll-out and maintenance. After seeing him in action, we have realized his value in troubleshooting most any network issue is a real asset.
Tyrone Skelton – Network Technician
Tyrone transplanted to the Santa Clarita valley from Sacramento in the summer of 2010. With a vast array of experience, Tyrone will feel comfortable troubleshooting anything from desktop virus’s to backend database code. He has been working primarily in the Traditional Support arena but, as most of our tech’s are, is trained in the Small Business Revolution model as well
Nicholas Vilppu - Network Technician
Nicholas has been in the IT industry for more than 10 years. His experience ranges from the basic help desk issues to the highest level of networking, server design, management and maintenance. Currently Nicholas is living in Japan and serves as our after hours support. His work allows our techs to sleep well at night to give you the best live support they can.
Dave Clark - Network Technician
Dave came to Adage most recently providing remote computer support. We realized a need to have a tech always available on the phone to assist with hot issues that come throughout the day and he does a great job filling that roll. Dave also provides server and desktop monitoring and will be a consistent voice on the other end of your support calls.
